End 1st Trimester....Start 2nd Trimester
I had Cory take a couple of pics last night of the ever expanding belly... I am almost 14 weeks (by my dates, 14 weeks today by measurements). The first 2 pics are this pregnancy and the next one is from about the same week with my pregnancy with Cade. I am so much bigger I think!

Newsy News....
Here are a couple of hints....
Yes indeedy we are pregnant! We are really excited. I was a little shocked at how quickly it happen for us this time around as it was a year to the day that we first started trying, when found out we were pregnant with Cade. This time it seemed it was the week we decided to start trying that I fell pregnant. Meant to be apparently!!
I am into my 13th week so on my way to my 2nd trimester. I have been quite sick this time. Different to how I was with Cade in alot of ways. This time my sickness comes in waves and catches me unaware where my pregnancy with Cade was kinder in the fact that it was much more predicatable. I also have no appetite, I am hungry but nothing sounds good whatsoever and that is a stark constrast to how I was with Cade so I am still trying to get over the sickness hump. I have popped a bit, seemed to start showing almost right away. By now I am the equivilent to how I was at about 16 weeks with my pregnancy with Cade. At night I look huge in my opinion but Cory disagrees... but he is too baised to be a help!!
I had my first ob appointment at the end of August (and as soon as I figure out the pic I will try and upload it). I love going to that first appointment, actually I enjoy all my ob appointments, but I do get anxious and hope all is well each time and that worrying part I don't so much enjoy. My mum was here and was able to come to the ultrasound and it was just so exciting to see our baby. Baby was moving a fair bit, more so than I remember with Cade. Little arms and legs going crazy, swimming about, it is always nice to see.
Today was my second appointment and it was a quick one, check up and listen to the heartbeat and that was that. It surprises me that they can see and hear baby so well this time around as with Cade I had to have ultrasounds clear up until my 17th week as Cade was so far back or because of my tilted uterus you couldn't audibly hear his heartbeat clear enough for me to hear it also.
I am due at the end of March but I will have a scheduled c-section the 3rd week in March, so likely by the 20th baby will be here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY...
Today is Cory's birthday. I am so thankful for this wonderful man. He is such a great husband, such a wonderful, hands-on father. Truly my best friend. I consider myself blessed in every way to have such a kind, respectful, hardworking and self-sacrificing man in my life. I love you honey!! Here's to a great day and an even better year ahead!!
Please let me not jinx myself....
Just an update on the Cade vs 'The Toddler Bed' dramas.... last night we played mean guys and made him cry it out, held the door shut (I know sounds awful) and guess what... HE STAYED IN BED ALL NIGHT!!! He cried alot initially, like bloody murder crying for about 4-5 minutes and then we waited until we thought he was well and truly asleep and sure enough the smarty had put himself into his bed, laying on his pillow and all with his covers pulled up. He knows. He is just totally playing us like a fiddle. He did wake twice in the night, once at 2am and I just went in put him on his bed, and told him, "Hope back in bed, this is your bed and where you will sleep, I love you, goodnight". He cried for a whole 2 minutes, never attempted to open the door and that was that. He woke again half an hour later and I did the same thing but I stood holding the door as he attempted to open it for a minute or so. A few cries later and he was out until 7:45 this morning. SUCCESS... I am not counting my chickens before they have hatched but.... what bliss!!

Stylin'
Here are a couple of pics of Cade. He cracks me up at the best of times, although this week has proved particularly difficult as we are trying to transition him to the toddler bed. Last night was probably his best night so far and I only ended up having to go into him at 3am. It has been hard to say the least and I have to say I would not have signed up for this right now other than the fact that he was climbing out of his crib and I feared a broken something (bone, crib, Cade) so it was down with the crib and move in the toddler bed!!

Birthday Girl
Well today I chock up another year. 27 years ago I was born in Launceston, Tasmania Australia. I was (and am) the youngest of 6 and completed my family by a very fast delivery of 1 hour and 20 minutes. I was 8lb 1oz and when I like at photos I look so much chubbier than an 8lb bub. I was jaundice when I was born and back then there were no bili beds so I was sunbaked by a sunny window. I was a Spring baby, (and now that I living on the other side of the world and Autumn baby too!!) Mum said she knew I was her last as it felt like I pulled every organ with me on my way out, gross I know! My poor mum!! I love birthdays. Today wasn't pretty uneventful. We has a rough night with Cade and I was up with him alot in the night. Thankfully I got a lovely sleep-in thanks to my wonderful hubby who took care of a little boy that didn't want to sleep-in!! I got some clothes, so yummy lotions and lots and lots of warm wishes from everyone and to top my day a beautiful bunch of flowers. I LOVE flowers, I personally think they are so under rated. If I was a squillionaire I would have fresh flowers in my home every week... I was spoilt growing up we almost always had fresh flowers in our home as my mum is a wonderful green thumb. Cory has a busy day today, Mondays he is at school until 10pm so tomorrow we will do something special for my birthday I am sure!!

Catch Up...
This month has been an eventful one for our little family. I finally have a chance to sit down and collect my thoughts (and photos)!
My mum came to visit for the month on August and it was SO lovely. We relaxed most of the time when we weren't out and about seeing the sites in Salt Lake and visiting family. It was so nice to have her here. It was just comfort for me, like she had always been here and it was hard to say goodbye that's for sure. She made it home safe and well and was greatly missed by my nieces and nephews as she tends them quite a bit and they just love Nanny T. My niece Shaylie wrote her a sweet card saying she counted down the days until she returned and cried and cried when she left. Just a tender moment for my mum and Shay when they finally did see each other. We miss her already and it seems strange to be out and about without her company. I love you mum!!
Here are some pics of us at the airport waiting for mum to arrive. She missed her connecting flight which we didn't find out until a freak out session by me, having her paged for 30 minutes and asking about 10 different times at baggage claim, but she got in 5 hours later and all was well. Well, she wasn't well, had a sinus infection which robbed her of her voice for almost a week...
July...
We has a pretty quiet 4th of July here but had a busy 24th of July!! We went to Delta where both of Cory's grandparents live and alot of his aunts and uncles. We always have such a fun time down in Utah and Cade has a blast at the parade...
