.The New.

Well, we have an offer in on a house and are awaiting a reply or counter offer... I feel calm about it, not going to get too excited just yet. We are meant to know by 5pm today or first thing tomorrow.

I turn 30 in a week... eek!

Is it just me or does everyone seem to be pregnant lately? Could be just that baby pang I feel when I should be starting to exercise the thought of have another...hmmm... (when Cade was the same age Ethan is, I had a 4 week old baby...shesh, hard to imagine).

On that note, they all seem to be having boys.

'The' puppy I want arrives in a week, not sure if he can be 'our' puppy though, depends on timing of closing etc if we get our home.

Beagle or Golden? Which would you choose?

The man desperately wants a bow for his birthday, which is only a couple of weeks away and I would love to get it on the sly, but we'll see what I can swing.

Did you know they have a Cabelas in Rapid City? Me either, we went there on the weekend and the man had a bow fix, shooting arrows etc. It was pretty sweet.

I have been growing my hair for about a year I guess it would be now and am oh so tempted to get it cut short again. I hate that. Might just get it colored to suffice.

.Old = Out, New = In.

Kinda random post here...

- Plans are moving along, but my previous post.... ppfft! Waste of splendid time! Plans have totally changed.... I will let you know when we do.

- On another note, we have now lived in the USA for 8 years this week. C.R.A.Z.Y!

- I start a new decade of life in less than 2 weeks. S.C.A.R.Y!

- I have our name down for first call on a puppy, arriving on my birthday... I. WANT. HIM.

- My husband is rocking at working out, he is totally putting my lazy butt to shame.

- I have something weird going on with my knee, think it is a torn ligament or some cyst. Going to the ortho next week to get that sorted I hope.

- I have visitors gallore this month. SUPER excited. My dad and step-mum are here right now and my mum arrives after them.

- My boys are in their new beds, fast asleep. Loving their beds and the little loves in them even more!

- We went to Tie Hack today and I so want to learn to fly fish. (Did I just say that out loud?)

Random, I know. Just life as I know it right now.

.Dreaming.

I am totally crushing on a few things lately. We are in the process of 'THE' house hunt. Two options have come up and we are waiting to see what happens...

but how I would love this little house... today anyway...

I am loving the floor plan. There is full unfinished basement, so room for growth. The price is just not right for us at this point.

The other 2 options we are looking at would allow for a bit more movement and some cosmetic sweat equity which is what we initially really wanted anyway, so we will see what happens.

Option 1 - we will call RC, would allow for me to have my fresh and clean kitchen and some easy to do's to make it lovely. Totally liveable and enjoyable as is, but has an unfinished basement also, so we can dream with that and save for summer projects. It is a ranch style home, one level with basement and I love that for our family at the moment. (hence why I love the plan above)
Here is what I am crushing for RC....

Option 2 - we shall call Sutherland
This is a home that is 20 years old, but very cute. We are going to look at this tomorrow, but from what I can tell, it has a great yard, deck etc but a small kitchen. That and the fact that there is 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs, might be a deal breaker for us. We will know more tomorrow. This is a split level home.
Things I am crushing for Sutherland...
We have plenty of time to decide and will be praying and weighing options all along the way but we are excited for the opportunities and possibilities.

Most of my images are on my pinterest board so feel free to check it out.

.Good Stuff.

source

My spunk of a nephew Kallan (who kicked the pants off cancer) was on the front page of the local newspaper in my 'old' home town with his gorgeous sister Shay. We are just so proud of him and can't wait for the exciting time they will all have as a family in Disneyland. What a fun time making memories together.

I love you and adore you Kal, Shay, Krinny and Dash!

Here are the pics of our place... finally!

That is the grand tour.

My favorite things,
- by far the tile instead of linoleum, tiled showers and bathrooms, entry ways and kitchen/laundry. Heaven!
- The higher ceilings.
- A dishwasher again!
- Living on one level, with the washer/dryer on the same level as the bedrooms.
- Central air.
- A pool and a nice patio to bbq on.

The things I don't like.
- Living on the 3rd floor, which means hiking 4 flights of stairs with groceries and a tired 2 year old not wanting to walk but instead be carried. (He walks, and cries the whole way up)
- The snotty kids that live here, that play outside unattended.
- There is no park here (as we have the pool) so we make a daily trek to another park, there is a small one across the road which is great, I just have to wait for the late afternoon so little bums don't get burnt on the slides.
- I hate not having a yard for the kids to play in anymore, soon enough.

We LOVE our ward. Although we were on the program our second week there as speakers and not told. We walked in and the councellor goes, "Oh good our speakers arrived, you won't have to listen to me the whole time" and we literally looked around to see who he was talking about. UMMM us!! We made it through. Talk about freak our for a little while though. I am filling in for the gospel doctrine teacher this week as he is going to Minot to help out for a while. I have NEVER taught gospel doctrine, so this is all new and out of my comfort zone, good think I love the lesson this week!!

We are settling in well. Have been busy looking for a home to buy GASP!! I know, big girl pants!! We are excited/nervous. Just waiting on a place we know is going to be listed to be listed. Total buyers market here right now with like 500 properties for sale at the moment.

Sorry this was super long, but newsy. Hope I got you all caught up.

.Moved.

We are here and adjusting to life in G town. We arrived Tuesday evening and Cory started work bright and early Wednesday, so we have been busy, busy.

I have 2 boxes left to unpack and pictures to hang, but other than that we are all unpacked. It has been horrible this time round trying to unpack. Not sure why. Maybe that fact that moving 3 times in a year has me sick of it, but I am trying to toss what has not been accessed or used in the last 9 months, hence it is taking a little longer than I previously remember.

The weather has been lovely. Hot but totally bearable. We have yet to go swimming and make the most of the nice days, but we have taken walks and played at the park and with great friends we haven't seen in a good while. It has been fun.

I will get photos up probably in the next day or so.
