...on Bebe Anderson...
Since the beginning of the year I felt so ill. I seriously have not felt this bad with both the boys combined, but it seems to come with force one day and then stay away the next. Very touch and go. I was so bad the first 2 weeks in January I did not leave my bed for 10 days except to get meals for the boys and put on a show or preschool games on the computer. I lived in bed. I though, if this is morning sickness, I can't live for the next 4-5 months like this. I has morning sickness from 5 1/2 weeks thru 17 weeks with Cade and with Ethan I had it from 4 weeks (first indication I was pregnant) thru 22 weeks. BUT... I was able to function beyond the first 2-3 weeks of sickness, when I could read it a little better. Thank goodness, I found out at my first ob appointment back in January, that what I actually had was a headcold, the stomach flu and influenza along with the morning sickness. I was grateful when all that passed and all I had was morning sickness that is now being treated with anti-nausea meds. I have had the worst mom guilt and with the fluctuating hormones, it has not been pleasant, but I am happy to say we are now functioning well and have been for the last month or so.
I went for my 12 week ultrasound last week. I was a little concerned going to a new place. I had a fantastic doctor, that I really loved for both Cade and Ethan so I felt this new doctor had big shoes to fill, and fill them he did. He was so lovely, so fun and a tease and I felt his bedside manner was just top notch. Wonderful! Even better was when he put the doppler on and told me this baby was "a lot bigger than a thumb" and therefore measurments pushed my dates forward. He asked me if I was pretty definite on dates and I said I was, as this bebe was planned and we were trying. He then said I am consistantly measuring 10 days then 11 days ahead so he pushed my due date ahead 10 days. Woohoo to skip almost 2 weeks of pregnancy!
Today, I am 14 weeks 4 days along and I feel much bigger that I did with the boys. Perhaps because it is no. 3 pregnancy or just the fact that I am carrying a little higher, a little differently.
I haven't really had any cravings really, just want more of what I already enjoy. I can't eat hot wings like I craved with the boys, they don't sit well and I can eat chocolate this time round without any issues. The only new things that I have wanted so far this pregnancy, is sour patch kids, which usually I don't enjoy so much as I squint with the sour and they hurt my mouth, but I can seriously sit and eat a whole bag in one sitting, I don't, but I could :) and guacamole, the 'Wholly Guacamole' 100 calorie pack ones are my fave.
I don't have any particular 'feeling' as to if this is a boy or a girl. I am preparing for a boy as that is what I know we make well :) but just want a healthy, perfect little one. Cliche I know, but the truth. Don't get me wrong, I would love a little lady in the mix, but I am preparing emotionally for another boy. I said after I had Ethan, that I did not want to find out the gender next time round, Cory will find out but I want the surprise. I feel this way simply because I know when the baby will be born (August 5th at this stage) but in all honesty, if I could have found out last week, I would have, so I am fearing I will cave and find out on the actual ultrasound day. We shall see. It would be nice to know, we have nothing girl, nothing even gender neutral (this is Cory's reasoning for wanting to know, to prepare).
During the ultrasound, the baby had its hands up by its face and I automatically felt like it was a girl, as my boys didn't do that, but it was also to early on with both of their ultrasounds to see formed arms with them, they just had little 'buds'. It was super cute though to see and then he moved the doppler and baby moved and we saw a 'perfect little spine' as our Dr said and it was perfect, so beautiful to hear and see. We also got a lovely shot of the face with arms and hands up. He did try to get a look at 'the parts' as some believe you can tell this early on the gender but he said it would be an educated guess but he would tell us what he felt it was but we were happy to wait. There was no seeing though, that baby was tight kneed.
Names, we are still floating around with the same list, just with a new one coming in and out here and there. We won't decide on final name, we always go with a list, but I need to see the baby before I can name them, my first choice has been thrown completely out the window once I see our little one.
I think that is about the run down. We are very happy, excited and feel very blessed to be pregnant.

Congrats! I'm so happy for you guys:)
Glad you are feeling better! It sounded like you had a terrible time to start out with! I was way more sick with #3 than with my other two. Hope you continue to feel better. I'm so excited for you guys!
In one post, you managed to make me thankful that I'm not pregnant but also wish I was pregnant at the same time. :) So glad you're feeling better.
Yay!! I am so happy for you (and a teeny tiny bit jealous too, I really want a baby!!!!!). Really hope the morning sickness improves, it just sucks hey :).
Great post! I love hearing all the details. I am so excited for you. My prediction is girl. Just because your "symptoms" seem to be so different with this one. My boy and girl pregnancies were very different from eachother. Good luck!! :)
